This is a chillish popish version. I made this mix after another remix I messed up which was heavier and anyway i'm posting it but it is bad.

She Wolf (Domesticate Girls, Girl Edit)
She Wolf (Domesticate Girls, Girl)

Both are the exact same remix, but the mixing is different. I did those with my headphones so i don't know how it sounds on good speakers (mines got attacked and sound horrible).
And here the baaad original mix
Click here to download She Wolf (Tea Machine Edit).mp3x

PS
Last remixes of she wolf ever. I think I'm the one here that's listened to it the most because of the listening over and over nonstop (which is extraordinary since i don't like that song, at least no so much *awards myself*) I had to tell.

Wohoo new stuff from you!

I love how you give a song a totally different character in your remixes. If you know what I mean.

Listening to the second one right now.

The first one for some reason doesn't work when I download it, it only plays the first 3 seconds.

EDIT: OMG and the tea machine (Bad) remix is awesome too! Especially the outro (the last approx. 20 seconds).

Those are like a hundred times better than most official remixes cause they have their own music and are not just transformed to a techno song.

I'm officially a fan of yours.

2nd EDIT: The first remix works fine for me now, don't know what that was. I got "Domesticate girls girl, domesticate girls girl, ..." totally stuck in my head now.

What ever happened with that Middle Eastern thing you started?

Review of this new mix coming later, since I don't have much time right now, and you know what my reviews are like.

Thanx a load lot of lots ! Yeah about the baad mix, I thought it would be funny to make it sound kinda country-ish with a ukulele and a mandolin to end the song lol I too liked it and made an updated longer ending (I'll post it).

HAHA Brian, yeah i'll make myself a big coffee for your review.
About that song; I don't have my keyboard so i couldn't keep it on, to write each single note after note (and changing their sensitivity) manualy is soo long but i'm doing it slowly.
Merci !

I'll just review the first basic mix for now. If you want me to review the edit and the "bad" mix, I will.

So, it's a good mix, of course. Original, complete, not all over the place (which some of your other stuff has been, as I've told you before). What you've done with She Wolf's vocals (great acapella, by the way) is new and something most would not think to do. Mixing them around, taking the first part of only one verse and making it the main theme of the whole mix, is very good.

However, as is the case with some of your other mixes, you make the music so original and try so hard to make it sound different that the listener is found listening more to the music than the vocals, the part that makes the instrumental track a remix. Is it good to have a different sound? Of course, that's what gets you noticed. However, the music should be there to help Shakira, not duet with her.

You also need to know the point between cool sounding and repetitive. "Domesticated girl, girls" is very cool sounding, but it repeats way too much at the end. As I mentioned before, it's the theme of the remix (as stated by its title), but that doesn't mean it needs to be stated so many times.

Finally, although I said that the mix is not all over the place, that is in terms of pattern. There is a perfect balance between only-music moments, verses, and chorus (except for the over-doing of "domesticated girl, girls"), but the music itself IS all over the place. Within one part of the mix, while Shakira is singing, the music going along with that part will change moods suddenly. Try to keep the music more constant, and not have such abrupt changes.

Well, that's all I have to say. Thoughts?

I feel like my teacher just gave me my tests results lol. I agree with you all the way. I didn't give my ears enough pause tho.
About the repetitivity i get it , and the abrupt things, yeah it needs smoothness, like some effects, or like a snare or something.
About the voice dueting the track , it's, too a matter of mixing, i mean postmixing, and at that i'm really bad when there are tons of layers. 0n this mix there are like 25 tracks, so postmixing each one so that they sound good mixed with all the others and the vocal, is an herculean job; well IT IS a job. I'm trying to learn but i don't really have the time.
By the way the "edit" is an example, it's same track with different postmixing, but like you said, none are satisfying.
So about the duetting I understand what you mean but i think i may have given the reason why it does that. I think ;.) .
Thanks a lot, Great advising!!

Funny cause I thought it's cool when there are mood changes e.g. when the part "I've been devoting myself to you Monday to Monday..." starts. If that was something that you meant. Or in the Loba mix there was something cool like that too.

To me the "domesticated girls, girl" part didn't sound too repititive, at least not so much that it would bother me. Well it's a matter of taste I guess.

Lol I don't know if it was meant or was just naturally going on. But what i know is that I wrote domAsticate. LA honte !
I think I had in mind asticate (+-astiquer) which is somewhat refering to the actual sexual movements infrench . haha
